JOIN US for our THIRD Annual Twenty-Six Point LU: A Marathon of Meters event in support of Camp Lucy.
February 10th at 10 am at 415 Westlake in Seattle AND virtually!
We invite you to participate in our third 26.LU: A Marathon of Meters to support Camp Lucy.
Camp Lucy is a free 10-day learn-to-row camp for girls, inclusive of non-binary, trans, and gender non-conforming youth, that uses rowing as a way to learn social-emotional skills and life skills. Inspired by the legacy of Lucy Pocock, Camp Lucy uses fitness and interactive activities to help campers learn about themselves as individuals and as part of a greater team. As Camp Lucy participants learn to try new things, they will gain an "I Can Do That!" mentality, and recognize the many ways that they are strong, powerful, supported, and brave!
This year we have both an in-person event and a virtual option!
AND, this year we are changing the format to a 2.5-hour row for MAX METERS. Grab your teammates and join us to see how many meters you can row as a team in 150 minutes! Try for a full, half or three-quarter marathon!!!
Participation is free, we just ask that you help fundraise to send more girls to Camp Lucy this year. Your registration includes a training plan, fundraising tips, and the chance to win some fun prizes (and bragging rights) too.
Head over to our sign-up page to learn more about the event and get your team registered. Thank you for supporting Camp Lucy and the George Pocock Rowing Foundation!
