We wish to acknowledge that the Pocock Rowing Center and The George Pocock Rowing Foundation are on the traditional lands and waterways of the Coast Salish Peoples, whose ancestors resided here since time immemorial. We hold in common the belief that our waters have the potential to build community and strengthen our bonds to one another and the environment. We honor with gratitude the land and water itself and the Duwamish Peoples who have stewarded it, past and present.
