GEORGE POCOCK FOUNDATION DAY (#POCOCKDAY)

Twenty years after the founding of the George Pocock Rowing Foundation, the Governor of the State of Washington proclaimed August 14th, 2004 as the George Pocock Rowing Foundation Day.

Today, we celebrate this day and keep the Pocock legacy alive.

We invite all organizations, individuals, and community members with affiliation to the Pocock name to join us in celebrating the many ways that the Pocock Foundation, and its affiliates, create powerful bridges between individuals and organizations.

Throughout the day today, we will share #PocockDay stories from our community and would love to hear what Pocock means to you.

We all know our sport has a deeply positive influence on our lives and we hope you will celebrate with us. 🎉❤️
