Pay it Forward

The GPRF is soliciting donations of used Model D and E ergometers in order to bring rowing to more young people.

Do you have an unused ergometer at home? Would you like to share the powerful experience of rowing with a young person?

The GPRF is soliciting donations of used Model D and E ergometers in order to bring rowing to more young people.

Our program, Erg Ed, currently reaches almost 40,000 students a year in 17 different school districts nationwide. This past year, we've received an unprecedented number of requests for the Erg Ed Program from school districts and community organizations. With grant funding on hold due to COVID, we are currently unable to capitalize on this opportunity to expand the sport as quickly as we'd like.

Our goal is to fill a set of 20 ergometers by the end of the academic year. This set, matched with GPRF's proprietary curriculum, would be donated to a school district or community organization to run Erg Ed in the fall of 2022.

What a powerful way for the rowing hive to come together to "pay it forward".

Donors will receive a donation receipt based on the age and condition of the machine.

Pickup is available in the Seattle area or dropoff at the Pocock or Renton Rowing Centers.

Please contact us by February 15th if you have an erg to donate!
