At the George Pocock Rowing Foundation, we are committed to helping young people access and experience the life-changing sport of rowing.

We believe that supporting our coaches and boathouse decision-makers is the best way to improve the experience of athletes who have been historically excluded from the sport.

The GPRF’s Coaching Education program is committed to partnering with the youth rowing programs of the PNW to explore the most beneficial resources, adopt the best practices, and forge a clear path to an impactful and inclusive boathouse experience for all youth athletes.

To kick off this new endeavor, we invite all coaches, administrators, and board members of youth rowing programs in the PNW to a 1-day retreat!

When: November 11, 2023

Who: Coaches, Administrators, and Board Members of Youth Rowing Programs in the PNW

What time: 9am - 4pm PT

This will be an interactive and discussion-based event where you will receive actionable information to bring back to your boathouses to make them more inclusive and safe.
